KTS is a wholly owned Black company that operates within the IT industry. Inherent in the company's philosophy and approach to business is the Spirit of Masakhane. Directly or indirectly, KTS is committed to supporting the upliftment and development of individuals from previously disadvantaged population groups.
Corporate Culture
Since inception, the staff compliment for the company has been individuals from previously disadvantaged groups. Considering the diversity within the company, and the understanding of the corporate culture in most financial institutions, KTS is in a position to better align black ICT professionals within the right environment. As far as it's possible, the company uses local resources in terms of labour, supports local brands and seeks strategic partnerships with other Previously Disadvantaged Individuals (PDI) companies.
Mentorship - Empowering the young
Incorporated in the company's daily program of operation is a mentorship program, whereby each director makes time to consult, advice and monitor progress of each consultant within their area of expertise Re-skilling of consultants and staff is encouraged in line with ISETT SETA programmes.
Training and Development- Giving back to the community
For a period of about 10 years combined, two of the directors were involved with Zakheni Computing, lecturing on a voluntary basis. KTS believes in transparency both for its operations and finances. Staff members are beneficiaries on financial gains made and are also involved in decision-making.
